In order to supply our partners with the best data and models possible, VMG has entered into partnership with the following people and organizations
TRC
The Thermodynamics Research Center (TRC) is one of the oldest and the most authoritative Data Centers in the world and specializes in the collection, evaluation and correlation of thermo-physical, thermo-chemical and spectral data for organic compounds. TRC is a division of the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) located in Boulder, Colorado. TRC is staffed by experienced research scientists and supported by editorial and contractual personnel. VMG has an agreement to use, produce and market products based on a wide variety of TRC and NIST products.
Prof. Carl Yaws
clyxxx@aol.com
Dr. Yaws has worked for years in the fields of properties correlation, usage, estimation, and values collection from hundreds of references. He has authored “Chemical Properties Handbook: Physical, Thermodynamic, Environmental”, a unique chemical, physical, and thermodynamics properties reference for scientists, researchers, chemists, and engineers. VMG has an agreement to include Prof. Yaws' database within its products.
DIPPR
The objective of the Design Institute for Physical Property Data (DIPPR)® is to develop the world's best set of critically evaluated thermo-physical and environmental property data to satisfy industry needs. Data developed in DIPPR projects have become the data of choice for leading chemical process simulators and are used throughout the world. VMG was a sponsor of Project 801 from 1999 to 2001 and is a distributor of the corresponding databases. VMG is also active on DIPPR 991 project related to the creation of standard interfaces for physical properties.
