Virtual Materials Group Europe S.L. was incorporated in Barcelona, Spain with the mission of promoting and supporting VMG products in the European territory.

VMG Europe will be led by Sergi Sama as Managing Director, with Jordi Galceran as CFO.

Naphtha Cracking Furnace Seminar in Japan

The seminar will take place in Kawasaki, Japan, on May 14th.  Glen Hay, VP of Business Development will be presenting a short course on the new Naphtha Cracking Furnace Model. The kinetic model is based on PIONA analysis, able to handle more than 10,000 simultaneous reactions to model "oil to petrochemical products" conversions.

This month we start a tribute series in honour of Dr. Andrew (Andy) Younger. Andy Younger was a Canadian pioneer in the natural gas processing industry, where he left a profound mark on its development from a technical, commercial and educational perspective.  Thanks to VMG’s sponsorship the release of the first set of learning materials for chemical engineers was possible– an interactive PTX envelope for the methane-pentane mixture.
