Andrew Vieler

Andrew Vieler is a chemical engineer and has been working with process & pipeline simulation software for over 30 years. His work has included steady-state and dynamic simulation of processes such as oil & gas production systems, oil refineries and gas treatment plants, oil & gas pipelines including multiphase production systems, petrochemical and some chemical plant applications. He also has extensive experience in the area of simulation of aqueous electrolyte systems.

In addition to working on large models of process sites or developing specific plant models for customers, Andrew has developed and given training courses and hands on workshops in at least twenty countries on five continents covering topics such as:

• How your Turbo-Expander Plant really Works
• Modelling & Understanding your Ethylene Plant
• Electrolytes

Many of these workshops and courses have been specifically customised to the client’s own plant.

Andrew has been using VMGSim since the first version of the program was released. He knows the ins and outs of the simulator and has been very active in providing feedback to improve it.
